40 mins to 2012, decided to churn out a short last post for 2011. Havent been blogging much in 2011, which isn't a good thing because I want my memories to be recorded.
2011 have been filled with many activities, both good and bad. But I'm sure 2012 will be a better year ahead!
I guess highlights for 2011 would be ... 1) Going on a holiday (Taiwan) with whitney as our post graduation trip.
2) Gaining work experiences
3) Passing my second year exams and proceeding to third year
4) Family trip to Beijing/Hk, and playing snow, skiing, visited great wall of china and forbidden city
I've learnt alot during the year, which I hope to bring forward with me to 2012.
I'm glad that after 3 long years, I'm really out of it!
That's all! Looking forward to a great brand new year! :)

Downloaded the app to post post, so hopefully I'll update more often! I want to be able to read back on these memories when I'm older!
Sch have started for 1 month plus. And it's November already!! 2011 is ending in 1 month plus. I can't believe how fast 2011 went by!
Celebrated my 21st with a party. Will update again soon! Testing how this post goes.

Im back here to blog after weeks!
I would really like to continue blogging here as this blog has been around for years, and it contains so much memories, and my daily life rants, but sometimes im just sooo lazy to blog, or there's nothing interesting to blog about!
So life has been the same these few weeks, working from 8.30-5.30pm, occasionally meeting fish for dinner, and some meetups with friends. I love simple meeting up, eating and talking and chilling. Because its the accompany that matters.
Last sat met up with my Pri sch friends for mahjong, and i enjoyed the session. I rarely play mahjong with friends, so i think i "grow up" already! Because it used to be my sister staying out late and playing mahjong with friends. Its nice to meet up with them, talking abt the past, present, and just simply enjoying each other accompany.
National day was great, as its a public holiday and it means i dont have to work! =D I've lots of memories regarding national day, as my family usually plan activities to do on this day. So yea, that adds to my love for National Day holiday. :)
I know im getting older when i see my friends doing duties/marching in national day parade. It used to be those kor kor/aunties/uncles few years back, and now those kor kor are my age!
Yesterday i went for the second practice for GYSS Alumni Band. Its really a struggle to wake up at 7plus to reach sch at 8am. So we were late this time because we were really tired. But it was a wise decision that we decided to go. I enjoyed playing the piano, xylophone, and snare drum!
Went for lunch with them after that, and Fish and I initially already planned to visit some museums, as its free for this month to celebrate National Day. But the rest of them decided to join us to museums as they dont have anything on. They drove to National Museum, and we started exploring and gaining knowledge. Singapore really has come a long way to how it is now, and i should start appreciating what we have now. They went through the hard work, and we are reaping their sow. I think museums are cool! its not as boring as what i expected. Plus there was one gallery, its all about past photographs and cameras. I really salute the person who first created camera. Camera is able to capture the exact moment, and photographs are able to let us reminise the memory we had at the time it was taken.
It was really a VERY FUN day with them! I really laughed so much, that i think 2 weeks of accumulated laughters cant even win that day alone. (make it 3 weeks since i'm such a loner at work)
Well, that's to say i've been leading a mudane life without much laughters, because i'm so alone in office! I've to lunch alone, and dont have friends at all, because nobody is ard my age! And i'm a secretary, so my working collegaues are my bosses, which are all quite big post. But im still enjoying my time here. I love my seating place as ive my own privacy, and its quite quiet.
Just a few more weeks and i'm done. Receiving results next week! omg.
2/10. thankyou.

Last week someone gave me a compliment, which i think is one of the best i've received. Because i've always perceive that person to be a very knowledgable person, so whatever he say should be correct. haha!
Been chatting with random pple this week, and i dk why, in just a week, ive 3 pple from different walks of my life asking me the same topic! :/

Havent been blogging for more than a month!
So since now i'm free, im here to do a short update!
24/5-30/5/2011.
Went Taiwan with Whitney, and i really enjoyed the trip alot! It was my first time travelling with friend on a personal trip, and it was free and easy. We planned our own itinerary on places to visit and shop. We went to tourist spots, went shopping, went eating and so much more! It was really an enjoyable and memorable 7 days together! Its considered our belated graduation trip. I felt so brave going to Taiwan with just Whitney, both of us girls. The other singaporeans we met there were all in big groups, and consisted of guys. We planned every single places, travelling mode and such. We're independent! =D
Every day we shopped till after midnight, and come to think of it, its quite dangerous! haha! but its quite safe there la. Bought quite alot of things there, especially bags! but i still cant get enough of bags!
It was windy there and the wind was wooooo~ but i got darker despite not feeling the heat!
To summarise, i'm glad we booked the flight and made the trip. It was successful! :)
Next was my cousin wedding. Went to helped her out, and sat in a 58 years old Rolls Royce. Its the only model in singapore. So i feel priviledge! Plus all the stares we got while travelling on the road! :)
And now, i've found a temp job and is currently working office hour! My job is still ok. At least im not bumming ard at home, im out here earning money. But it's so fattening to work! :/
Friday Fish and i went zhen's house to stayover, and we had fun as usual! Went East Coast the next morning to cycle the special vehicle. Its the people who matters, not the activity.
can you hear me?

Elections are over, and overall im quite happy with the results, except for the loss of Aljunied.
Yes aljunied people got what they wanted, but we singaporeans lost our foreign affairs minister.
Lets wait and see how Aljunied will be like in the next 5 years, and see who will have the last laugh.
But i was really shocked that PAP won Potong Pasir over. I thought Potong Pasir people were loyal and always supported Mr Chiam. Why didnt they voted for his wife? It was such a small margin. :/
My exams are finally over! Yay! After days of torture. But some papers were really difficult! Just hope i can pass!
In a week time, im finally going to taiwan! Booked my ticket months ago and was so excited! And finally, its here! 6 more days! :D

A short post before i sleep.
2 HOT topic. Election and Prince William and Kate Royal Wedding!
On friday, 29th April 2010, William and Kate finally got married!
I watched from the start till the end, and its really so grand and nice!
(im so happy that i went all those places before too! )
The number of britons plus other countries people standing at the streets giving their blessing to the new couples are just WOW. The streets were filledddd with people! And i saw the amount of rubbish they left on the news the next day. =X
Everyone was anticipating the "secret" to be revealed, which was her dress. And indeed, her dress was STUNNING. Even her sister dress and figure was stunning!
Everything was just perfect. The weather, the dress, the bride and groom.
Prince Harry is so cute! He got this cheeky mischievous look on him! :)
There's one part, when Kate was walking the aisle to William, Prince Harry turned back and look at her, and said something to William while smiling. I bet he must have said that Kate is beautiful.
And its such a pity that she's not called Princess Catherine/Kate. Instead, the queen named Prince William and her the Duke and Dukeness (i forgot how to spell) of Cambridge.
It must have seemed like a dream come true, a fairytale to marry Prince William.
But its not exactly fairytale after all.
Paparazzi will forever be following her heels, and she has to carry on Princess Diana legacy.
Its said that Princess Diana had at least 100 charities to her name, which means Kate must have at least 100, because people would start comparing.
Talking about Princess Diana, i really really like her too! She married at such a young age (19) to Prince Charles, and she didnt know how to deal with such royal kind of stuff back then, because Prince Charles didnt taught her. She dealed with everything herself, was involved in so many charities, and she's just really nice. But ... heaven took her away when her children were still so young...
Well, this time round it'll be a happily ever after...
The election is really a hot hot hot topic now!
Its the first time Bishan-Toa Payoh get contested and get to vote, but im too young to vote!
And Chiam See Tong is the opposition challenging PAP.
I didnt know there's so many different opposition parties before the election. Its like out of nowhere, they just pop out!
I realised i've grown up from the interest i have on this election. 5 years ago, i was still 16 and too young to understand. But now, it really seem like a big big thing!
There's lorry going around, playing the speaker around bishan. Its the first time im hearing it, and i found it quite cool!
Its like another face of Singapore that i didnt know exist.
There's rallies around different stadiums, different parties are attacking each other, debating and such..
On facebook, i saw many many comments about this, and i even saw a few essay-long note/comment about how bad PAP is, how we should all vote for opposition and such.
All i can say is, stop being ungrateful. Think of all the things you have, and be thankful for them. If you're really not happy about singapore govt, get out of singapore la! Why are you staying here complaining?
Its suppose to be a short post, but it turned out quite long! Thats all! :)

Yesterday i met up with my primary school friends! We've known each other for 10 years! So long right!
I was the one who planned this gathering, and im actually very happy with the number of people who came! Its almost half the class already! And im quite surprised by the turnout, since some are already in ns and its on a Thursday night. And there were actually more guys than girls! 4 girls and 9 guys. Guys are so much more steady! hahaha!
Its so nice and funny to talked about the past memories. Super funny and epic!
And even though we've not talked to each other for almost a year ( the previous gathering was May 2010) and for those who didnt turn up last time, i've not talked to them for yearss, we're still able to click and feel comfortable with each other! Thats why i realised feelings never change.
We're forever the same 11 years old kid at heart when we meet each other.
And its funny that i'm the one who always plan the activties. I found that as the years goes by, i'm becoming more anti-social and quieter. In primary school, i'm quite chatty and im able to mingle with almost everyone, planning activities. In secondary school, i start to become quieter, then poly then uni. Thus my friends from each tertiary becomes lesser! In pri sch i had so many friends! In sec i've lesser close friends, then poly, to now uni. Why huh?
Anyway, we went Cityhall for dinner and then to Ah Chew for desserts! 13 of us squeezed into 1 small round table. Cosy and nice. The shop uncle said the record for that table was 12 people, and we broke it! I think that table was meant for 6 people. Some went home early because they still had to work on Friday, while 7 of us went to AMK 24 hours Mac to sit and talk! And in those few hours, i learned alot! After learning and hearing so much, i start to think im quite ignorance. hahahaha.I've been living in my happy little bubble world, that i didnt realise that the outside world is so dark. My friend say my mind is still young and innocent. Im the one with the blur face, always asking " huh, whats that?". I learned some stuffs about pschology too! It was really a good meetup! From childhood talks to the other topics.
We talked till ard 3plus AM, and we walked from amk to bishan. I think its one of the lastest time that i reached home.
I truly enjoyed myself. :)
A question for you to ponder about: If you're given a chance to erase one of your memories, will you do it? Bear in mind that once you erase that memories, all the experiences and everything that you learn/gain from that memory will be gone. Will you do it?
